BC Professionals Directory 2025

Since 2019, Dr. Debbie Clelland and students from Adler University have been collecting information from professionals across British Columbia, Canada, who specialize in working with gifted children, adolescents and adults.  The directory was most recently updated in January, 2025.  It is now available on both the GCABC and

Making Sense of Giftedness websites.

Directory Information

This directory has been created by asking professionals who work with gifted folks or their families to provide information about their practice.

It includes professionals who have requested to be on this directory as of Dec 2024, and are currently offering counselling, psychological services, and occupational therapy.  You would need to check with the professional to see if they are currently taking new clients.

If you are seeking a psycho-educational assessment, look for Registered Psychologists who answered "Yes" to offering a Psycho-Educational Assessment.

The directory is arranged by geographical location in the order that we heard from the professionals. There is also information about the number of years each professional has been in practice, what % of their clients are gifted, and training they have done to work with this population.

For professionals who would like to be added to the directory, please contact Debbie at MakingSenseOfGiftedness@pm.me

More Info about Professionals who work with the gifted

To help parents, caregivers, educators and gifted adults know more about professionals, Dr. Debbie Clelland and others created an information page on the Gifted Children's Association of BC Website:

This provides information about:

  • what types of services each community-based and education-based professional offers

  • which educational professionals parents and caregivers might encounter as they are advocating for their gifted child(ren)
